I encourage young girls to get into science based courses so as to compete effectively for equal oppoturnities in the job market as their male counterparts.

The most important thing I learnt in the MOW was that mentor and mentee need to get along very good and be fully confident in each other in order to achieve the goals they want to!

The most interesting thing I learnt from the MOW was that women and African Women in Agricultural Research and Development for that matter are endowed with abilities and skills to associate with people from diverse nations and cultural backgrounds in unity.
I saw so much expression of love and concern for one another, keep the fire burning.

You were all wonderful and I say Bravo to everyone,
Charity.

An interesting thing I learnt from the MOW was about how the personality styles can be blended between mentor and mentee if the mentoring relationship has to succeed .

Wishing all the Fellows, Mentors and the AWARD Team the very best of luck in the year 2009.

At mentoring orientation workshop, it was interesting to note my personality style actually impact on my work output and relationships. I really came out of the workshop with a positive image about myself. In short, I rediscovered myself!
